WE ARE ALL KENNY LAZO, a Justice for Kenny Coalition event, Sunday, March 13th @ the Brecht Forum, 5PM

Join us on Sunday, March 13th, 2011, @ 5PM @ the Brecht Forum, for the all-engaging, informative, interactive event: WE ARE ALL KENNY LAZO. We will be featuring speakers from the Justice for Kenny Coalition, ACD Media, the October 22nd Coalition, and the ANSWER Coalition, discussing Kenny Lazo, the details of his case, and police brutality on a local and global level....all this, while stuffing our faces with amazing food! We... will also be putting our heads together and coming up with solutions to the current issues we face as anti-police brutality activists, and after all that, will be enjoying a hip hop show featuring Danette Chavis, V-Rock, Aidge of The Aesthetics Crew, Frankie of the Peace Poets, Marcel Cartier, Majesty of Overthrow Entertainment and Tyron Pannell! Also featuring artwork and photography by Vanissa W. Chan

Suggested donation, $10. Bring more funds for awesome food and awesome merchandise!

Funds are being raised for LIRR tickets so that those of us in NYC can travel to Bayshore, Long Island, to protest on the 3rd Anniversary of Kenny Lazo's police murder (April 12th, 2011) in front of the 3rd Precinct Suffolk County Police Department, where he was found dead. We have been doing this twice a year, every year, in hopes that our presence and words will empower the local community to come and join us in their struggle and our struggle against police brutality!
